How to Set Up Account Alerts So Nothing Slips By
Account alerts are one of the easiest ways to stay on top of your finances and catch suspicious activity early. Here's how to set them up through Guadalupe Bank Online Banking.
How to Access Alerts
Log in to your Guadalupe Bank Online Banking account and navigate to the Alerts section. You can set up alerts for your checking accounts, savings accounts, and debit card activity.
Types of Alerts You Can Set Up
- Low balance alerts — Get notified when your balance drops below a threshold you set
- Large transaction alerts — Receive a notification whenever a transaction exceeds a certain amount
- Debit card transaction alerts — Be alerted every time your card is used
- Direct deposit alerts — Know as soon as a deposit hits your account
How You'll Receive Alerts
You can choose to receive alerts by email, text message, or both. We recommend setting up both so you catch notifications even when you're away from your inbox.
Why It Matters
Account alerts put you in control. If a transaction you don't recognize shows up, you'll know about it right away rather than discovering it days later when you review your statement. The faster you catch something suspicious, the faster we can act.
