How Our Real-Time Fraud Monitoring System Works
Guadalupe Bank monitors your accounts around the clock for suspicious activity. Here's how our real-time fraud monitoring works — and what happens when something looks off.
What We Watch For
Our fraud monitoring system analyzes transactions as they happen, looking for activity that falls outside your normal spending patterns. This includes unusual transaction amounts, purchases in unfamiliar locations, multiple rapid transactions, and activity that doesn't match your typical behavior.
How We Alert You
If our system flags a suspicious transaction, we'll reach out right away. You may receive:
- A text message from short code 86975
- An automated call from (800) 369-4887
When you receive one of these, simply reply or follow the prompts to confirm whether the transaction was you. If it wasn't, we'll take immediate action to protect your account.
What We'll Never Do
Guadalupe Bank will never contact you and ask for your full account number, Social Security number, or online banking password. If someone claims to be from Guadalupe Bank and asks for this information, do not provide it — call us directly at (830) 792-1950 to verify.
If Something Is Wrong
If you confirm fraud or suspect your account has been compromised, call us immediately at (830) 792-1950 during business hours. A real person will pick up and help you through the next steps.
